  ROCK CLIMBING

You know you want to! Come out for a day and learn to push aside fear.

A great alternative to the alpine products we offer. Depending on the season we can offer a great range of rock climbing options, from single pitch instruction to guiding on multi-pitch alpine routes. We have numerous locations around Queenstown and Wanaka to choose from and can tailor a location to suit you.

Our Rock Climbing Starter Day involves a full day of learning all it takes to get started. Your Guide will run through everything including setting up the anchors safely, belaying your partner, abseiling (rappelling) over the edge and rock climbing movements/techniques. The level of climb you will find yourself on depends on your experience and confidence levels. We want you to feel excited but comfortable. We use grades of climb to suit you.

We provide all technical equipment (helmet, harness, rock shoes, ropes and climbing hardware), all you need are clothes to climb in and your lunch.

Price: NZ$250 per person

Schedule: This trip is available on a daily basis during summer months otherwise on demand, weather conditions permitting. Contact us to register your interest. Full refunds are provided if trip is cancelled due to weather. Minimum numbers apply.

Departures: We pick you up from your accommodation in Queenstown or Wanaka at 9am.
